I was a member of the naval air reserve during my senior year, so after graduation I decided to get my active duty over with since jobs were hard to get for a non vet. I went through basic training, then electronic school, and off to flight crew training. I was sent to a Naval air station where I worked in the electronic shop and flight line. When I was on Flight status I flew on a P2V twin engine Sub hunter as a Radio and ECM. Operator.

After the Navy I worked for Northern ordinance in north Mpls. for a short time and in April of 1962 I went to work for Rosemount Aerospace which is now a division of Goodrich Sensor Systems in Burnsville Mn. I started as a R and D Tech.

In Sept. 62 I went back to school part time nights and worked full time and finally got my associates degree in electronics in 1967. Over the years I worked in the test lab most of the time, first as a test tech., then I was lab supervisor for 17 years, and now I have worked as a test specialist or engineer since 1994.

I was married in the fall of 1958 and after the Navy we lived in So. Mpls. for a little over 2 years, then in 1963 we bought a home in Eagan Mn. where we lived until 1974 when we moved to Burnsville Mn.

I was divorced in 1987 and moved to Apple valley where I still live part of the time, I bought a home in Oro Valley Az. in 2002. Oro Valley is located in the foothills about 20 miles north of Tucson. I spend 10-12 weeks there in the winter and then come back to Mn. and work the rest of the year. That works out good for now.

As for free time I have spent time traveling in the states, mostly on the road, fishing, boating, snowmobiling, camping, etc. We have gone through 3 boats. half a dozen snowmobiles and 2 motor homes over the years. I have also fixed up some older cars and belonged to clubs such as A.A.C.A auto club. and Az. Mustangs.
