I was fortunate to be a stay-at-home Mom until 1979. I worked at Coast To Coast Hardware in Lindstrom for 10 years, and at Chisago DAC with the handicapped for over 7 years.

In 1999 I built & opened a craft shop at home which I ran for 4 1/2 years. I do woodworking & paint in acrylics.

I retired in 2004 and now get time to fish (we live on Chisago Lake). I also enjoy flower & vegetable gardening. My yard was featured in a garden tour in 2003.

When the snow comes I stay inside & keep busy quilting, doing jigsaw puzzles, crafting and painting wildlife. I also do water aerobics twice a week.

We love to travel, Key West, Flordia and Glacier National Park, Montana are our favorites.

Most of all we love being with our children & grandchildren. We are so lucky to have both sons living within a block from us. The youngest grandkids, Carissa 7 and Dell 4 think our house is their second home!

My husband Tim drives "over the road" so my family helps occupy my "alone" times.

I am looking forward to seeing everyone at our 50th!
