After graduation I spent most of my 2 years with the Navy in Hawaii. After my Navy tour ,I worked 1 year for Marvin Johnson roofing and about 2 years for Lien Auto supply. Both were based out of Lindstrom.

I started college in 1964 majoring in El.Ed. and Special Ed.. Also in 1964 I married Sandy Oquist. I graduated from St. Cloud State in 1967 and taught 32 years in Princeton. I completed my Masters in 1973 and was chosen Princeton Teacher of the year in 1974.

In 1969 we bought some land outside Princeton and in 1970 I built our home. 1985 found me as the chairman of our church building program for our new church.

Since retirement we have enjoyed our wonderful Grandchildren, one that we "Cassie Sit" 3 days 1 week and 2 the next.

We have done some traveling. A long car trip out west and south, 3 cruises ( Alaska, New England/Canada, and the western Caribbean). These included extended Amtrak travels as Sandy will not fly.

We still live on our hobby farm with a large congregation of animals.
