Jacksonville, Florida has been my home for 35 years. For the past 25 years I have been doing Medical Transcription in my home for a local hospital. After growing up with three sisters, I have two daughters, two granddaughters, and a step-granddaughter. You might say females run in my family! My husband Phil, from Richmond, Virginia, died five years ago.

Prior to my Jacksonville years, I spent some time in Minneapolis working at various jobs, and then on to the Air Force, where I served three years as a Weather Observer.

One of my hobbies is playing my Lowry Home Organ, and taking weekly classes with other seniors. Our club has many parties, enjoy concerts from guest artists who perform all over the world, and we have the chance to play occasionally at malls, home patio shows, etc. I also enjoy traveling and have spent time in Europe and Israel. But I believe my best times (other than visiting Janice and Don once a year) are just sitting at home with my cat, Mercy, with a cup of coffee in my hand, reading a book, watching TV, or playing games on the computer!
