For the last 21+ years I was a child protection worker in Hennepin County. As of 7/31/08 I have retired.

For longer than 21 years I have been a field instructor for social work graduate students at the U of MN, and I hope to be able to continue with that after retirement. I also plan to volunteer with the Minnesota Literacy Council.

As for hobbies, I have continued my interest in plays and classical music concerts, and belong to two book clubs. I don't do a lot of traveling right now; it seems more unpleasant to fly and all the time.
