After graduation I attended Gustavus Adolphus College and graduated in 1962 with a Bachelor Degree in nursing.

On July 29, 1962 I married Duane and moved to Fairfax, MN where he farmed. We retired from farming in 1986 but continued to live on our farm.

I worked in a hospital and nursing home for a time and worked for our doctor in Fairfax Clinic for 17 years. The next 18 years I worked as a Public Health Nurse in New Ulm, MN for Brown County. I retired in 2004 but continue to do a little part time there when needed.

We have enjoyed our children and now also our 7 grandchildren - ages 2 years to 16 years. We baby sit, attend many sports games & music concerts, etc.

We had a cabin up north for 40 years. We sold it 4 years ago and now have one 45 minutes away. A lot closer & easier to get there whenever we want - although we miss the old one a lot.

The last 4 years we've been doing a lot of traveling - Europe, US, Hawaii and South America. I still love to downhill ski and we go to Aspen, Snowmass in Dec and April.

I'm sorry we will miss the reunion as we will be on a trip to Tanzania, Africa. We are traveling with my brother Rollie and sister-in-law Martha.

I'll miss seeing all of you but my thoughts will be with you.
